Five-time Emmy Award nominee Ruth Buzzi is best known for the comedy-variety show “Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In.” The Rhode Island-born star is also a talented actress who has appeared in stage, films, and television productions.

She was working in the acting industry while she was in college and had her first role at the age of 19. Her first recognized appearance on TV was in 1964 on “The Gary Moore Show,” before she had minor roles in numerous movies. Buzzi has appeared as a guest on many shows, and in 2021, she portrayed Agnes in “One Month Out.”
