Trevor Eve – Age 71
Trevor Eve gained both fame and critical acclaim in the show Shoestring, playing the eponymous lead. His affinity to police procedural dramas continued when he played Detective Superintendent Peter Boyd in the series Waking the Dead.
He is also an accomplished stage actor who earned a Laurence Olivier Award for his part in the play Children of a Lesser God in 1982. He earned another for his role in the 1997 showing of Uncle Vanya. He also has an honorary doctorate from Birmingham’s Newman University and currently plays Gerbert D’Aurillac in a series A Discovery of Witches.
