In most cases, it is expected that celebrities will showcase their possessions to display their social standing. However, this is not the case with Emma Thompson. She is known to switch residences occasionally, but it seems that she has a particular fondness for Scotland and often chooses to stay there when she is not in Venice. It is evident from her interview that Emma’s memories of the beautiful town of Argyll influenced her decision to return there after she and her husband Greg Wise became Italian citizens. They chose to spend time with their extended family in Argyll during the lockdown.
