Marina Sirtis – 29th March 1955
Anyone familiar with Star Trek will no doubt be familiar with the London-born Marina Sirtis who played the half-human, half-betazoid Counselor Deana Troi. After being raised by Greek parents, she attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama before relocating to America in her thirties to further her career.
Sirtis has since had guest roles in many television programmes, such as Doctor Who and NCIS, and has also lent her voice to a number of characters. In recent times she has voiced Queen Bee in Young Justice and Cosma in OK. K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes.
