Jerry West and Karen West – 45 Years Together
Nicknamed “Mr. Clutch”, Jerry West is renowned as one of the greatest point guards in NBA history for his remarkable ability to make critical shots late in the game. He was adept in both defense and offense, and could even play shooting guard, despite his playing position of point guard.
West played for the LA Lakers, and then coached the side for three years before taking on the role of general manager for the Memphis Grizzlies. While West has experienced great success both on and off the court, including his 38-year marriage to wife Karen, his first marriage to Martha Jane ended in 1976. Karen, a former school teacher, is the mother of two and has been married to West since 1978. Together, they have now been together for over four decades.
