Kate Silverton & Mike Heron – 11 Years Together
BBC broadcaster Kate Silverton and her husband Mike Heron almost didn’t make it down the aisle. See, the former Strictly Come Dancing star admittedly had a fear of commitment and even underwent therapy to work through her issues. Luckily, Heron was a patient man and stood by her side during her ordeal.
Five years after their first meeting, the pair finally married in 2010 and went on to welcome two children in the years that followed. Going on 11 years later, the family of four are happy as can be. Silverton, who found a new calling in child psychology, published a book called There’s No Such Thing As Naughty in April 2021.
