Walt Disney gave the world the most memorable gift in the form of Mickey Mouse, but little does everyone know that Disney was actually afraid of mice. The animator loathed these tiny creatures so much, yet that did not stop him from becoming inspired.
While spending time in his garage, Disney often got the chance to see mice play around. An idea struck, and he then started to draw pictures that would lead to one of the most beloved characters today. It’s safe to say he must have conquered his fear and changed his mind when Mickey Mouse came into the scene.
