Julia Gillard & Tim Mathieson – 15 Years Together
Julia Gillard made history when she became the first female Australian prime minister. She was in office from June 2010 until June 2013. In 2004, she first crossed paths with hairdresser Tim Mathieson. They had a wonderful friendship for two years, but they officially became a couple in 2006.
The couple remained partners all these years, but it looks like they never found the need to get married. Mathieson went through one divorce in the past and has three adult children. Gillard began a new chapter in 2021 when she succeeded Eliza Manningham-Buller as the Chair of the Wellcome Trust.
