Declan Donnelly, a highly respected figure in the entertainment world, made his debut in the industry at the suggestion of his father. He auditioned for the popular children’s program, Byker Grove, which aired on CBBC. From there, his career has gone from strength to strength, as he has hosted a variety of shows, including Friends Are These, Poker Face, Britain’s Got Talent, and Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway. His personal life has been equally successful, as he married his manager Ali Astall after a relationship of over ten years. The couple said their vows in 2015, and in 2018, they had a daughter.
