Take A Look At These Super Cars That Your Favorite Hollywood Celebrities Own

Steve McQueen – 1968 Mustang GT, ~ $5 Million

There are only a handful of iconic cars we remember from movies, and Steve McQueen’s 1968 Mustang GT car from the film Bullitt is one of them.  After filming ended, the ‘hero car’ driven by McQueen in the film was sold to a studio executive in Los Angeles, then later sold to a police detective (coincidentally), and last to New Jersey insurance executive, Robert Kiernan.  McQueen searched for the car with the hope of buying it, and found it in the possession of Kiernan.  The insurance executive didn’t want to sell, though, and after writing and calling him, McQueen finally gave up.  The iconic car was passed on to Kiernan’s son, Sean, after he passed away.  He put it up for display recently with the unveiling of the 2018 Ford Mustang Bullitt edition.  The original ’68 Mustang GT used in Bullitt is now estimated to be worth $3 to $5 million, but much like his father, Sean refuses to sell it.
