Paul Newman – 1971 Triumph TR6, Undisclosed Amount
Paul Newman is considered one of the great Hollywood legends, and this isn’t just because of the fact that he has starred in some of the best movies of all-time, but just by being a great human being. The actor is known for being a humanitarian and supported many causes during his lifetime. Some of his memorable films include The Hustler, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Cool Hand Luke, and The Color of Money. Aside from his acting career and humanitarian works, Newman was also a known race car driver. He used to own a formidable collection of cars, which he used to participate in the 1979 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race. Perhaps among all his cars, the most memorable one was his 1971 Triumph TR6, because this was the race car he drove to win his first SCCA National Championship. Newman’s car collection is now owned by comedian Adam Carolla, the man who directed and produced a documentary about the legendary actor’s racing career.
