Jasper Carrott – Age 79
Comedy legend Jasper Carrott rose to fame in the 1970s with the hit TV show “An Evening With Jasper Carrott.”He’s arguably known as the godfather of British stand-up and has the nation in splits since his single, “Funky Moped,” hit the pop charts in 1975. He also had other prime-time TV shows like, “The Detectives with Robert Powell,” “Carrott’s Lib,” and “Carrott’s Commercial Breakdown.”
Carrott boasts of many accomplishments including, a BAFTA, Winner of the BBC TV Personality of the Year, and British Comedy Awards Lifetime Achievement. Carrott is not willing to give up on his career just yet and performed at Coventry’s Albany Theatre on March 24, 2022.
