Caitlyn Jenner, previously known as Bruce Jenner, is a renowned American media figure and former Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete. Jenner’s athletic journey began in college, playing football for the Graceland Yellowjackets until a knee injury required surgery. Following encouragement from L.D. Weldon, coach of Olympic decathlete Jack Parker, Jenner switched focus to the decathlon. After six years of dedicated training, Jenner triumphed at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, setting a third consecutive world record in the men’s decathlon, earning her the title of “all-American hero.” Beyond athletics, Jenner pursued careers in television, film, business, writing, and even appeared on the cover of Playgirl. She has six children from three marriages, with Chrystie Crownover, Linda Thompson, and Kris Jenner.
