She rose to fame following the Lewinsky scandal, often referred to as “Monicagate.” The scandal erupted when Bill Clinton, who was the President of the United States at the time, publicly acknowledged an “inappropriate relationship” with Lewinsky. This affair occurred while she was serving as an unpaid intern, a junior-level position, at the White House from 1995 to 1996, when she was just 22 years old.
