Angela Thorne – Age 83
Angela Thorne has made her mark on the small screen with her role in “To the Manor Born.” She is also known for portraying ‘The Iron Lady,’ Margaret Thatcher, in “Anyone For Dennis?” Her role as the UK’s female prime minister got her much critical acclaim. The Guildhall School of Music and Drama alum’s first professional work was in “Night Must Fall.”
Thorne has also starred in another sitcom. “Three Up, Two Down.” That was made possible after her three-year-long stint at “To the Manor Born.” The role was so popular that she had to revive it in 1997 for a radio series and in 2007 for a christmas special.
