These Golden Celebrities Are Living A Good Life

Prunella Scales – Age 90

Prunella Scales had already starred in stage productions before she got her breakthrough role in the early ’60s in the sitcom “Marriage Lines.” But it wasn’t until 1975 when she would be a part of “Fawlty Towers,” which would become her most iconic TV role. Her 1988 portrayal of Queen Elizabeth in the stage play “A Question for Attribution” would get a BAFTA nomination.

In 2014 Scales and her husband Timothy West worked on the documentary series “Great Canal Journeys.” In it, they would travel in small narrow boats, hoping to raise awareness about the restoration of the Kennet and Avon Canal.
